Sound Task Feedback

Mr Halsey: Opening half works very effectively as parallel sound. The switch to contrapuntal really works as it gets an audible reaction from the audience. I just wonder if you could have chosen a different clip where the protagonist looks scared rather than smiling? The editing touch with the volume at the end - Superb!  Was the opening half a little long?

Peer Feedback:  WWW:   So cute! met the brief really well.
                                          Very creative and funny.
Good choice of music and scenes.
                                          Good use of both sounds.
                                          Good Transitions.
                                          Heartwarming first video.
Ending has an element of comedic effect.
                                          Good editing.

EBI:                       A little longer for contrapuntal?
                                           Just a little long.
Last scene was sort of parallel.

Personal feedback: WWW: A good contrast between the different genres
                                             First half is distinctively parallel
Switched from the first video at a correct point (not cut off)

                                EBI: A bit long
Choose a different scene from the same show where the characters are                                                   scared/fighting

Top 3 Videos:  Manav - Humour
                        Hamzah- Had a story line
Cerys - good contrast between genres

I have learnt that sound is very important in media as it is able to completely change the message being conveyed and is able to influence the audiences emotions and feelings towards the characters.
